Actor Bio

A graduate of Toronto's George Brown Theatre School, Sarah Manninen was nominated for a Gemini award as Best Leading Actress in the BBC/Alliance production 'AKA Albert Walker'. She was a series regular on MTV's 'Live Through This' and UPN's 'Platinum' and a recurring character on Showcase's 'Naked Josh'. She has had leading MOW roles in 'Martin and Lewis', 'Beautiful Girl', 'The Riverman', 'Touch the Top of the World' and 'Molly: An American Girl on the Homefront'. She has guest starred on 'Burnt Toast', 'This is Wonderland', 'The Eleventh Hour', 'Angela's Eyes', 'Wild Card' and 'Veritas', among others. Sarah's feature film credits include 'The Prince and Me', 'All You Got' and 'Never Forget'. Her favourite theatre credits include George F. Walker's 'Better Living' and 'Escape from Happiness' at Factory Theatre, 'The Wedding Pool' at Atelier du Rhin Theatre de la Manufacture and Belfry Theatre, 'The Shape of Things' at the Manitoba Theatre Centre and 'Our Town' for Soulpepper.
