Actor Bio

A Toronto native of Jamaican descent, Clé Bennett is best known for his lead performance in the Genie-nominated feature film 'Treed Murray'. Other feature film credits include 'Steal', 'Harvard Man', 'Animal 2', and 'How She Move'. His extensive television resume includes 'Hoop Life', 'Soul Food', 'Odyssey 5', 'Playmakers', 'Street Time', 'Instant Star', 'This is Wonderland', 'Doomstown', 'Soul', 'Lawyers, Guns & Money', 'Lost Girl', 'Guns' and many more. In theatre, Clé has won both the 'Award of Excellence', and the 'Award of Merit' for his performances in the Sears Ontario Drama Festival. Clé also maintains a successful career as an extremely versatile voice-over artist, having voiced ads for several top brands including Coca-Cola, Ford and Wrigley's. Bennett's voice talent extends to the world of animation, where he is heard as "Louis" on 'Razzberry Jazzberry Jam'; and also as the three strikingly different voices of "Chef", "DJ", and "Mama" in the Teletoon 'Total Drama' franchise.
