Daniel Kash is the son of Canadian opera icon Maureen Forrester and Eugene Kash, virtuoso violinist and conductor. He trained at London's Drama Centre and the Banff School of Fine Arts. Twice nominated for a Gemini award as Best Actor, Daniel's film and television credits include 'Aliens', 'Dresden Files', 'Farther West', 'Hurt Penguins', 'Michelle Apartments', 'Don't Say a Word', 'Tuxedo', 'Last Days of Patton', 'Haven', 'Path to 911', 'Macbeth', 'The Man Who Saved Christmas', 'Crown Heights', '1-800-Missing', 'Exit Wounds', 'Going Back', 'The Shipping News', 'Cold Creek Manor', 'Gospel of John', 'Cinderella Man', 'Lucky Number Slevin', 'Fugitive Pieces', 'The Magic Flute', 'Angela's Eyes', 'Gross Misconduct', 'Me and My Shadows', 'This is Wonderland', 'Due South', 'Law and Order' and 'Street Legal'. Daniel has acted in dozens of productions in North America and Britain; his most recent theatre credits include 'The Constant Wife' at Citadel Theatre and the Manitoba Theatre Centre, Tarragon's 'Alice's Affair' and 'Canada House' at Theatre Passe Muraille. He recently directed three plays for the Toronto and Winnipeg fringe festivals, as well as the award-winning short films 'Germgirl', 'Flip Phone' and 'For Lease'.
