Actor Bio
A versatile and accomplished performer, Ron White is no stranger to either stage or screen. Born in Dawson Creek, British Columbia to a father in the army, Ron spent much of his early life travelling, from Camp Borden, to Fort McMurray in Alberta before finally landing in Toronto. Following the encouragement of a high school teacher, Ron began to pursue theatre through an apprenticeship at the St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts.
Through his work in film, Ron White has met and worked with the likes of Sidney Lumet (on 'Guilty as Sin'), Clint Eastwood and Gene Hackman (on 'The Unforgiven') Peter O'Toole and James Whitmore. His television credits are equally impressive, including appearances on 'Street Legal', 'Night Heat', 'Trudeau', 'Traders', 'Due South', and many more.
His extensive work in theatre includes performances in 'The Caucasian Chalk Circle', 'Death of a Salesman', 'Glengarry Glen Ross', 'Speed the Plow', 'High Life' as well as George F. Walker's 'Heaven' and 'Adult Entertainment'.
